This wine is deep purpley red in color, displaying an aroma of sweet fragrant plums and bright red-berried fruits. A medium to full bodied wine, showing red fruits, fine spices, cloves and peppers.

Rutini Malbec has a concentrated nose with elements of wild berries, tobacco and vanilla. The palate is full, with rich black fruit flavors and a touch of black pepper spice.
* France: Baron Rothschild Reserve Speciale Bordeaux
Fine, intense ruby color. The palate is balanced and pleasing, with rounded, silky tannins, well-integrated woodiness and an excellent spicy finish.
* Rioja, Spain: Bodegas Ramon Bilbao Crianza
Bright, deep, cherry-red. Intense aromas of ripe black berries to the nose accompanied with balsamic touches which are reminiscent of coconut and liquorice.
* Tuscany, Italy: Ruffino Il Ducale Toscana IGT
The bouquet is complex and intense, with outstanding notes of cassis, cherries jam, plums and chocolate. Then it shows very clean flavors of tobacco, vanilla, eucalyptus and spice.
* Chile: Vina Perallilo Arenal Carmenere
Intensely dark and violet in color with bold, sweet, floral aromas of blackberry and earthy plum which combine with peppery spiciness. It is ripe, structured, and surprisingly complex, with a terrific softness on the palate.
